Solenoid Systems’s Virtual Development Platform
As product requirements continue to grow in sophistication and project schedules are reduced, Solenoid Systems’s Virtual Development Platform allows our engineers to design and develop complex solutions quickly with a high level of accuracy.
Virtual Development Platform
The Virtual Development Platform is a combination of co-simulation technologies, such as Electromagnetic, Thermal, Fluid Flow, Structural and Electronic analysis tools to create a Multi-Physics, Multi-Domain solution of a device or an entire system.
From Virtual Development a Virtual Prototype is created. The Virtual Prototype is analyzed as it functions in the application, verifying the customer’s performance requirements and run through a series of Virtual Validation tests, such as Operational Thermal Cycling, Thermal Shock and Durability. Thermal, mechanical and frictional stresses are analyzed in critical areas to determine the robustness of the design.
Once the Virtual Prototype is approved, functional prototypes are ready to be manufactured and validated with a high confidence of success, eliminating costly iterations and project delays.

Solenoid Systems is an extension of our customer’s development team and believe collaboration is essential to manage today’s complex and multi-location projects. To achieve this we have created a custom Collaborative Task Management system which couples our Stage Gate Process and Automated Workflows to collaboratively manage each and every phase of the project on the Project Portal, keeping team members informed with project information, documentation, communication and change management activities centrally stored and readily available. The Project Portal allows all team members to be focused on engineering creative and innovative solutions.
